3月Performance情報
２月はパフォーマンスはないですが、３月に東日本大震災後１年のイベントに参加します。また昨年のチャリティー活動のようにストリートでバンクーバーの人たちに感謝の気持ちを伝えます。
In March We will have some charity performance for 1 year after Tohoku earthquake and street performance like last year. Here is schedule.
March １０th Street Performance
現在ダウンタウンとBroadway St.と３カ所程度を予定。

日本に帰国したJaVanメンバーを中心に立ち上げました！
また一緒に日本で歌いましょう！！
We make a start "JaVan Japan" the branch Japan of JaVan.
This is begun by JaVan friends who came back to Japan!
Let's sing a song again together in Japan!!

今までも何度かPerformanceをさせていただいたNorth Vancouverの美容室 JiveJiveでのPerformanceです。ちなみに今回は、JaVanの創始者のYuukaさんも参加します。
We will have a performance at JiveJive that we have performed several times before. Yuuka, the founder of JaVan will also join.

There was an orienteering of West Point Grey Japanese Class.
We sang songs with students, teachers and their family!

We don't have a practice on Friday, Apr 22nd because of Easter Holiday and the place where we usually practice it is going to be closed. We will have a practice next week, Apr 29th as a usual. Have a happy Easter, everyone!!
4月22日(金)はいつも練習を行っている場所がイースターホリデーのため閉館となるため、リハーサルを行いません。4月29日(金)は通常通り練習を行います。

私たちにできる事
JaVanでは、今回日本で起きた「東北地方太平洋沖地震」の被災地の方々へできる事がないか模索しています。私たちには直接現地の人々を助ける力はありませんが、「歌」があります。きっと何かできる筈です。
現在のところ、チャリティライブなどを催し、義援金を募って赤十字へ寄付するという方法が有力です。開催地等は未定ですが、当ページやfacebookを通じて報告いたします。もしライブ開催を承知頂ける場に心当たりがありましたら、教えて頂けると大変嬉しく思います。
皆様の家族、親戚、友人が無事でありますように、被災地の方が一人でも無事でありますように、苦しい思いをしている方が少しでも楽になりますように、心からお祈りいたします。

JaVanがGospelを披露する機会を頂きました！
日系人Choirが黒人教会で歌うなんて、滅多にないことです。
この機会に是非、JaVanのパフォーマンスを見に来て下さい。

We are going to perform in church where we did workshop the other day. This is a rare chance that Japanese gospel choir can sing gospel in like this church. Please come there to see our performance.

今までに500名以上の方が参加したジャマイカ系カナダ人ゴスペルシンガーによるワークショップを再び開催します。
